Macerie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"color: #f7ca46;\">MAC &#8211; Museo d&#8217;Arte Contemporanea &#8220;Ludovico Corrao&#8221;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>edited by <strong>Andrea Cusumano<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The MAC \u2013 Ludovico Corrao Museum of Contemporary Art presents <strong>Macerie<\/strong>, the new project by Liu Bolin, born from the photographs taken during the performances conducted by the artist in Gibellina and in the Belice area in June 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Celebre in tutto il mondo come The Invisible Man, Liu Bolin utilizza da oltre vent&#8217;anni il proprio corpo come superficie di mimetizzazione per interrogare il rapporto tra individuo e societ\u00e0, presenza e assenza, memoria e identit\u00e0. La progressiva scomparsa della figura umana nello spazio non \u00e8 un semplice esercizio di illusionismo visivo, ma uno strumento attraverso il quale riflettere sul significato dei luoghi e sulla relazione tra l&#8217;uomo e il contesto che abita.<\/p>\n<p>In Gibellina, the artist selected several emblematic locations in the new city and the ruins of Poggioreale, transforming them into the backdrop for a series of performative actions.
