Diwan – Simposio di arti

Diwan is a symposium of arts and techniques that brings together six authors active in the artistic exchange between Düsseldorf and Palermo: Clemens Botho-Goldbach, Michael Kortländer, Roberto Orlando, Alessandro Librio, Valerie Krause, and Genny Petrotta. The residency addresses the theme of rubble both as physical ruin and as a symbolic result of collective trauma, inviting artists to produce individual and collective works. The plurality of languages and perspectives fuels a reflection on the possibility of transforming destruction into an opportunity for elaboration, healing and imaginative reconstruction.
